About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Service Expert to join our team at Marriott International. As a Food and Beverage Service Expert, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable and personalized experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that food and beverage orders are accurate and delivered promptly.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
  • Upsell and promote our menu items and beverage offerings to guests.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role in a hospitality environment.
  • You will have a genuine interest and knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and all things food.
  • You will have strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • You will hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
  • You will have full working rights in Australia.
