Are you a seasoned electrical engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical design aspects of high-voltage transmission projects. Your expertise in detailed design, electrical system analysis and capacity planning will ensure that our clients receive top-notch solutions. In addition to your technical skills, you will also play a key role in fostering a culture of teamwork within the engineering team and across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to oversee the engineering activities and technical design aspects of high-voltage transmission projects
  • Develop concept and detailed designs, conduct technical investigations and tender assessments, and prepare contract technical specifications
  • Analyse electrical system requirements, capacity, cost, and project needs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer on major energy projects (HV/EHV Substations, Transmission Lines, Renewable Energy)
  • Proven detailed design experience
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering)
  • CPEng or eligibility to obtain
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia)
