Role Summary
">We are seeking a proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person to work as an Employment Consultant in Queensland.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with community members to help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with local employers and community groups
- Developing tailored plans to create successful pathways for employment
- Empowering community members by enhancing their employability skills
- Delivering a quality service while adhering to contractual and compliance requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and possess the following qualities:
- A willingness to complete a National Police check
- An ability to pass a Working with Children's check
- Eligibility to work in Australia
