About the Role
We seek experienced individuals to fill the role of Rostering and Planning Support Officer within our National Coordination Team at the Band 4 level.
The National Coordination Team sits within our Business Services branch, contributing to AFP operational outcomes by providing support and enabling our people to deliver maximum impact.
Our Quintiq solution enhances our enterprise wide rostering capability, supporting increased workforce visibility, flexibility, improved rostering practices, consistency and alignment with better practice.
About Your Key Responsibilities
This role will find you working in a varied and rewarding environment, delivering service & support outcomes while thinking creatively and collaborating with others.
- Respond to phone and online queries in a professional manner, ensuring accurate information is provided.
- Assess the complexity of issues and escalate matters requiring higher-level intervention to senior colleagues.
- Allocate and action enquiries and requests within designated timeframes.
- Perform basic compliance checks in line with our Governance Framework.
- Provide general administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping and document preparation.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of operational procedures.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and service in all interactions.
- Build and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle queries professionally.
- Sound organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively contribute within a team.
