Job Summary: The Rostering and Planning Support Advisor plays a vital role in the AFP's Business Services branch, supporting the development and implementation of rostering and time recording practices across the organization.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to Band 4 Team Members to achieve operational goals
  • Monitor workload distribution, addressing bottlenecks and workflow issues
  • Support compliance checks to ensure adherence to the AFP Governance Framework
  • Assist with the administration and management of the Quintiq Community of Practice
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance user engagement and satisfaction
  • Respond to complex queries and identify trends for continuous improvement
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to policy and procedure development and review

Requirements:

  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or ability to obtain one
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Highly developed organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and achieve outcomes in a challenging environment
