Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Casual Civil Labourer who can perform various manual tasks and operate a small tipper truck safely and efficiently. This role requires strong work ethic, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Civil Labouring Tasks: Performing general civil labouring tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and site maintenance.
  • Operating Small Tipper Truck: Transporting materials on-site efficiently and safely.
  • Assisting with Materials Handling: Loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Following Site Plans: Completing tasks as required following site plans and instructions from supervisors.
  • Maintaining Work Area: Keeping a clean and organized work area.
  • Ensuring Safety: Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A valid manual car licence is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience operating a small tipper truck is highly desirable.
  • Civil labouring or similar experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Immediate availability to start work is preferred.
