About the Role
We are recruiting for a Civil Project Manager to join our skilled team due to our expanding project portfolio in New South Wales.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing all facets of project delivery across multiple projects from initiation to closeout.
You will be exposed to projects at every phase from tender through to delivery and will deliver major portions of large, complex Civil projects and/or entire low-risk Civil projects.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a competitive salary on offer, estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per annum.
Successful candidates will work on projects throughout New South Wales with typical individual project values between $5M and $35M.
In regional areas, you can expect a 10:4 or 11:3 roster and a 25% salary uplift, as well as a living away from home allowance.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing projects from start to finish, focusing on time, cost, quality, health, safety, and environmental management.
- Managing contracts, scope, procurement, risk, and opportunity, stakeholder communications, and project integration.
- Organising and directing site labour and delivery of construction materials, plant, and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordination of site activities.
- Helping to document the project scope.
- Identifying and assisting with resolution of scope discrepancies.
- Identifying scope gaps between sub and head contracts.
- Collating data and compiling upstream claims.
- Compiling subcontract packages.
- Maintaining site quality records and contributing to the development of QMP, ITPs, check sheets, MDR, and NCR register.
- Attending post-tender interviews.
- Compiling and reviewing subcontract packages.
About You
- Techncial qualification relating to the industry – Civil Engineering or Construction related Degree.
- Project Management and/or Construction Management experience, delivering design and construction works.
