About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and talented Civil Engineer to contribute to impactful projects in a supportive and growth-oriented environment. The successful candidate will possess strong management, analytical, and technical skills, as well as excellent communication skills.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Project Management: Designing, planning, organizing, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Technical Expertise: Determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards, drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.
  • Site Management: Organizing and directing site labour, delivering construction materials, plant, and equipment, and establishing detailed programs for coordinating site activities.
  • Quality Control: Monitoring activities on-site regularly to obtain performance of construction materials and labour, designing strategies and methods to optimize these resources.
  • Problem-Solving: Engineering problems like water leakage and recommending technical solutions, including scope of work, material, and construction process.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A degree qualification in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • General Building Construction Knowledge.
  • Superb knowledge of all governing civil engineering standards, requirements, and guidelines.
  • Technical proficiencies including Microsoft Office Suite, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
