Lead Child and Adolescent Mental Health Educator

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Lecturer in Psychology, you will provide leadership in teaching and learning across Psychology topics with a particular focus on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering inspiring teaching across all levels and modes, leading curriculum development and review, and applying innovative teaching practices and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching across Psychology topics, focusing on Child and Adolescent Mental Health Assessment.
- Curriculum Development: Lead the development and review of curricula that prepare students to work in diverse and interprofessional contexts.
- Innovative Teaching: Apply innovative teaching practices and technologies to enhance student learning experiences.
- Qualifications: Completion of a PhD in Psychology or equivalent professional experience.
- Registration: Eligibility for registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience: Experience in the practice, teaching, and supervision of child and adolescent psychological assessment.
- Teaching Excellence: Demonstrated capacity for excellence and innovation in tertiary-level teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Educational or Developmental Psychology, a passion for enhancing curriculum, and the ability to support students to develop graduate-ready skills and knowledge. They will also bring energy, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
