About the Role
">Deliver specialist child and adolescent mental health care to consumers with a diagnosed eating disorder. Provide assessment, education, counseling, and group work. Undertake discipline-specific assessments when required to ensure optimal understanding of the presenting mental health/eating disorder issue. Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies, and the community by providing information and education regarding child, adolescent, and family mental health eating disorders.

- Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families.">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">- ">
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification.">
- Ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions, and work as a team member.">
- Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues, including eating disorders.">
- Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical work within discipline, including group work.">
- Knowledge of developmental theory and the mental and physical impact of eating disorders on the individual and the family unit.">
