About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents with eating disorders.
The role involves providing direct mental health care, collaborating with other professionals, leading quality improvement activities, and contributing to policy development within the practice setting.
The successful applicant would be required to work at both the Women's and Children's Hospital and CAMHS in Elizabeth.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment, education, counselling, and group work activities for clients with eating disorders.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal consumer care.
- Lead quality improvement activities and contribute to policy development within the practice setting.
- A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to relate to and work alongside diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
- Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, flexibility, and creativity.
- Commitment to providing quality client-centered service.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, negotiation, conflict management, and leadership.
