Job Title: Key Account ManagerJob Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled Key Account Manager to drive our sales strategy across Australia's retail markets. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow our presence in retail channels, promotions, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead retail channel relationships across Australia.
  • Understand retail space planning, in-store execution, and promotional planning.
  • Build, lead, and nurture current retail channels and build new channels of distribution.
  • Define and implement key strategic initiatives to accelerate growth while improving efficiency.
  • Analyse, structure, and optimise tools, internal processes, and productivity in retail channels.
  • Collaborate with the customer service and onboarding team to ensure smooth onboarding of newly acquired merchants and retention of existing merchants.
  • Create product strategies for existing and new hardware for merchant bases.
  • Define value opportunities for Added Value Services (VAS).
  • Keep competition at bay through outstanding retail marketing activations, promotions, and critical account management.
  • Manage 3rd party distributors for all retail channels.
  • Secure operation excellence (Marketing POs, Forecast, and Logistics).
  • Improve trade marketing coordination/efficiency through retail channels.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
  • 3+ years of experience directly managing metrics-driven customer-facing teams within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience identifying opportunities and independently developing plans of action within retail channels.
  • Commercial background and leadership experience, navigating change in large sales organisations.
  • Experience in SME-related industries such as payments, hospitality, travel, etc.
  • Great analytical skills and strong business acumen.
