Retail Channels Director Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Retail Channels Manager to lead our new strategic branch in a new market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies for the new location aligned with the retail business strategy and branch network.
  • Business Development: Actively engage in prospecting and lead generation, identifying potential clients and converting them into customers.
  • Team Leadership: Lead business development activities at the branch resulting in customer relationship index, loan portfolio, deposit portfolio increase and any additional financial and/or service goals.
  • Customer Experience: Responsible for the delivery of proactive and superior customer experience in the branch.
  • Franchise Model: Maintain and sustain a franchise model at the branch, ensuring all decisions and actions align with service standards.
  • Staff Performance: Monitor, evaluate and coach staff performance to ensure compliance with our values, attributes and value proposition on daily activities and interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure branch compliance with regulatory requirements and procedures; ensure staff follow operational policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master of Business Administration, Business Administration, Management, Finance or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record in sales and business development in the retail industry. At least four (4) years of management and supervisory experience required.
  • Language: Fully bilingual – English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), reporting systems and other business applications required. Banking software and applications highly desirable.
