The role of Senior Engineering Director for Australian Operations is a critical position within our Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT). You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving maintenance and engineering strategies for our Botany site.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can set direction and policy for all engineering-related matters, managing the budget and effectively communicating strategy with the business and direct team.

You will be the owner of the Technical Centre of project deployment (Facilities, Utilities, Sustainability, and Reliability maintenance), ensuring compliance and adherence to regulations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting technical direction and policy for the engineering function
  • Owning the Technical Centre of project deployment
  • Leading and inspiring a team to achieve business objectives
  • Developing and maintaining a Plant Technical Masterplan, including a 10-year facility and asset plan
  • Ensuring plant facility and utilities systems are part of the Autonomous Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance journey

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A relevant Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
  • Up to 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Technical knowledge across multiple disciplines
  • Previous working experience within a factory environment
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience of fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience.
