Electrical Estimation Specialist

Join a leading electrical contracting business in Australia, where you will play a pivotal role in the Electrical and Renewable Offering division. Your expertise in electrical estimation will drive engineering solutions for key projects, including high voltage systems and renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance inspection and test plans, ensuring all specification hold points are met and documented.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and cashflow sheets for components under your supervision.
  • Attend site inspections during the tender process to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver procurement services in accordance with company procedures.
  • Provide expert advice on project estimation and interpretation of client technical specifications.

Requirements:

  • Licensed Electrician or Bachelor of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Experience in renewables, preferably solar farms and large-scale BESS.
  • Strong skills in project estimation and proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Solid understanding of HV/LV single-line diagrams.
  • Ability to summarise and interpret client technical specifications.
