Procurement Expert Role
Verve is seeking a skilled procurement professional to enhance its contract management processes, driving efficiency and value for money. This pivotal role involves relieving operational staff of contract negotiations and ensuring seamless procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough review of current procurement processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve maximum value without compromising on quality.
- Assume responsibility for contract negotiations, alleviating the Operations team from this burden and ensuring well-structured, fair, and aligned contracts.
- Review, revise, and execute contracts, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail while adhering to established guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and fiscal efficiencies within procurement and contract management processes.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective procurement operations and contract management.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5 years' experience in procurement and contract management roles, demonstrating successful negotiations and process improvement.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex procurement situations and provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with stakeholders effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in contract review and execution.
- Familiarity with fiscal management and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Confidence in taking initiative and working independently while collaborating within a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools.
