About the Opportunity

Seeking a suitably qualified physical oceanographer or climate scientist to contribute to blended teaching and research in innovative teaching and learning practice, course development, outreach and engagement, science communication.

This role will make an important contribution to collegiate life of the Centre and outreach, engagement and impact strategies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and teach courses in physical oceanography and related fields, promoting cutting-edge knowledge and skills.
  • Conduct research in collaboration with colleagues within the Centre and beyond, advancing the field of physical oceanography.
  • Develop and implement effective outreach and engagement programs to promote the Centre's work, fostering a stronger connection with the community.

Requirements:
