
Defect Assessment Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Fire Systems Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who can work collaboratively in a dynamic environment and provide expert estimates for fire system defects.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and quoting defects identified on fire systems by field technicians. They will work closely with the Brisbane-based Defects Estimation Team to ensure prompt, accurate, and comprehensive defect quotations are provided for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review defect notifications on fire systems submitted by field technicians.
- Assess the scope of defects across various fire safety systems and prepare detailed quotations for rectification.
- Utilize MS Dynamics and Field Service software for managing quotations, tracking defects, and maintaining records.
- Collaborate with other members of the Defects Estimation Team to ensure consistency and accuracy in quotations.
- Maintain detailed records of quotations and assist in tracking the status of defect jobs through to completion.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Uphold compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Experience in fire systems (detection, suppression, or related safety systems) highly desirable.
- Prior estimating, quoting, or technical assessment experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Dynamics and Field Service software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment.
