Job Opportunity: Training and Assessment Specialist

This position plays a key role in supporting the development of IUIH staff by designing and delivering contextualised training aligned to accredited units of training.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse groups, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel across South East Queensland.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Trainer and Assessor to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of IUIH staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing on-the-job delivery of training tailored to IUIH staff needs;
  • Conducting regular site visits to map and gather themes on required topics for administrative staff;
  • Delivering accredited training where appropriate within the scope of practice and approved Trainer Profile;
  • Assisting in mapping contextualised training to accreditation standards.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116);
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in medical reception; and
  • A current C Class Driver's Licence and Blue Card.
Desirable Qualifications

We also welcome applications from candidates who have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and/or communities, or those with experience using health record systems.
