Brisbane, Queensland is the venue for an exciting role as Event Coordinator | Mary Maes. This full-time salaried position is perfect for a motivated individual who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Trippas White Group operates premium venues across Australia, including the Sydney Opera House, Centennial Parklands, and Royal Botanic Gardens. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional services that meet high standards and expectations of our clients.

As an Event Coordinator, you will work closely with the Venue Manager and both front and back of house teams to plan and execute events at one of Brisbane's most iconic venues, Mary Maes. Your responsibilities will include client interaction from planning to execution, operational support duties, and administrative coordination to assist senior managers.

The Role:

This permanent full-time role involves coordinating events across all spaces at Mary Maes. You will be responsible for client communication, event planning, and operational support duties. Additionally, you will work closely with the Venue Manager and teams to ensure seamless event delivery.

About You:
  • Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar role
  • Immaculate grooming and presentation skills are essential
  • A curious learner eager to develop further and grow within the company
  • Ability to listen and inspire clients about their event possibilities
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in large catering, hotel, or corporate hospitality is advantageous
  • Experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to contribute to a supportive workplace culture
