Emergency Response Training Opportunity

Ventia, a leading infrastructure services company operating across Australia and New Zealand, seeks an experienced Emergency Response Trainer to join their Fire Services team based in Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop emergency response training programs focused on contractual requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop departmental-specific curriculum guidelines consistent with national legislation and industry best practices.
  • Support the development of assessment tools to ensure ongoing skills and competency maintenance among team members.
  • Contribute to the development of training curriculum and learning guides for emergency response topics at a state and national level, aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • A background in firefighting and first aid capability, supported by an evidence matrix of skills and competencies.
  • Familiarity with emergency services and operational excellence practices, including risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in training and people management, with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality training programs.
  • Valid qualifications include: Diploma of Public Safety (Emergency Management), Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High-risk and diverse emergency response experience, with a strong understanding of emergency response procedures and protocols.
