National Tenders Manager

We are seeking a strategic and experienced commercial leader to lead our national tenders management efforts in Australia. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vaccines and pharmaceuticals, with experience in managing state and national tenders.

The role involves collaborating with Federal, State and Territory jurisdictions, as well as relevant private hospital groups, to ensure efficient availability and management of company vaccines and pharmaceuticals through tenders and contracts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement tender submissions for the supply of vaccines to publicly funded programs;
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Government personnel, to enhance and protect company vaccine business objectives;
  • Developing and maintaining accurate forecasts for vaccines tender platforms;
  • Designing, developing and delivering innovative health-related programs for consumers and healthcare professionals;
  • Adapting communication style to a variety of audiences and influencing stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualification in science or a related discipline;
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in vaccines;
  • Superior relationship management and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, critical appraisal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to motivate, build and lead teams.
