Job Title: Director of Digital Commercial Excellence

We are seeking an experienced commercial leader to join our team as a Director of Digital Commercial Excellence. This role will involve leading the end-to-end commercial process for all-of-government digital platforms, including procurement, vendor and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of contract partners to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships with internal senior leaders.
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process within GTP, ensuring compliance with NSW Government policies and maximising value for money.
  • People leadership for immediate team and broader directorate, actively participating in Value & Portfolio Management leadership.
  • Represent senior leaders as required, providing expert, actionable advice and recommendations to executives.
  • Engage with vendors and industry partners to develop strategic partnerships and optimise digital product offerings.
  • Oversee contract management, including negotiations and compliance monitoring, performance reporting, to secure optimal outcomes for the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a large multi-disciplinary team in a service delivery environment while developing and operationalising commercial processes, including strategic sourcing, procurement and vendor and contract management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing long-term strategies to ensure value for money and service continuity aligned with platform requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading negotiations and contract management for large-scale digital platforms to establish a consistent approach, ensure compliance, and optimise outcomes for the organisation and stakeholders.
