Key Responsibilities
  • Providing medical care to patients on our acute Medical and Rehabilitation Wards
  • Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Participating in the implementation of DETECT protocol and supporting nursing staff in its implementation
  • Identifying deviations in diagnostic results and taking appropriate action
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with our patients, families, and healthcare team
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted registration with APHRA
  • Advanced cannulation, arterial and venous puncture, and fluid resuscitation skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of DETECT protocol
  • Strong collaborative interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Immunisation evidence (including full COVID vaccination) and serology report
  • Experience with hospital computer data systems and relevant applications
  • Previous private hospital experience and/or Medical & Rehab experience
