About the Position

As a Senior Traffic Infrastructure Specialist in our initial 3-month contract based in Northern Sydney, you will be responsible for assessing Development Applications related to traffic and dealing with complex traffic issues, including congestion, road safety, and multimodal transportation. Your expertise in traffic and transport concepts will also cover parking management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the traffic impact of Development Applications
  • Conduct thorough investigations and prepare reports and estimates regarding traffic matters
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external customers on traffic, transport, and parking issues
  • Ensure timely processing of requests on traffic matters
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or relevant qualifications
  • Relevant experience in civil projects, such as roads and footpaths, with demonstrated knowledge of NSW Road Rules
  • Local Government experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
