About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Northern Sydney. This is a 35 hour per week, 1-2 day Work From Home opportunity with flexible start and finish times.

As a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing Development Applications and dealing with complex traffic issues, including congestion, road safety and multimodal transportation. You will also have knowledge of Parking management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess traffic impact of Development Applications
  • Undertake investigation and preparation of report and estimates regarding traffic matters
  • Provide advice to internal and external customers on traffic, transport and parking matters
  • Ensure that requests on traffic matters are processed promptly

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or relevant qualifications
  • Relevant Civil project exposure such as roads, footpaths etc, demonstrated knowledge of NSW Road Rules
  • Local Government experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
