The Midwifery Unit Manager Level 2 plays a pivotal role in leading and directing patient or client care. This position is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient practice of nursing and midwifery through continual quality improvement initiatives.
This includes overseeing the nursing and midwifery and multidisciplinary care team at the ward or unit level, as well as monitoring and managing business and management functions and processes.
Our ideal candidate will be a registered midwife with relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience. They will also possess a demonstrated commitment to professional development, innovative clinical service delivery, harm minimisation and practice development.
A successful applicant will have effective interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate the ability to engage, enable and manage teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and direct patient or client care
