About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design-related risks
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
  • A commitment to working safely, within the company's HSEQ systems, and maintaining high levels of quality and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
