Designing the Built Environment

You will play a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and assessing structures across various projects in the buildings and infrastructure space. This position requires a collaborative mindset and strong technical skills.

About the Role

Your work will involve partnering with senior engineers and project teams to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient designs. You will liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals, conduct site inspections, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in mentoring engineering graduates and contributing to business development and diversification.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage structural design projects
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives
  • Utilize design software to create detailed structural plans
  • Conduct site inspections and verify compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare project reports, technical documents, and proposals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in structural design
  • Proficiency in SPACE GASS, Strand7, ETABS, and/or RAPT
  • Strong understanding of contemporary design standards such as AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS3700, AS1720
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
