Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.

About the Role

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and specifying instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement. They will also specify and design on/off and control valves, including valve sizing and actuator selection.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and specify instruments for pressure, flow, level, and temperature measurement.
  • Specify and design on/off and control valves.
  • Select control system hardware and design system architecture.
  • Develop functional specifications.
  • Design fire and gas detection systems.
  • Contribute to LOPA, HAZOP, and CHAZOP assessments.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
  • Strong technical expertise in Instrument & Control Engineering principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software for detailed design tasks.
  • Solid knowledge of Australian Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to Instrument & Control Engineering.
