About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive compliance leader to take on the newly created role of Compliance Manager. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing organisation, where you'll take ownership of the compliance function for a critical business unit, fostering strong relationships with regulators and embedding a culture of compliance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compliance Leadership: Act as the primary compliance advisor for the transmission business, providing strategic direction and ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations.
  • Regulatory Engagement: Manage relationships with regulators, oversee reporting, and ensure timely breach notifications.
  • Operational Integration: Work with leadership and operational teams to implement and monitor compliance obligations through robust systems, processes, and training.
  • Change Monitoring: Lead regulatory change initiatives, ensuring timely communication and business readiness.
  • Culture Building: Promote and embed a strong culture of compliance and accountability across the business.

About You

  • Experience: 5+ years in a compliance leadership role, ideally with exposure to highly regulated industries, with a preference of energy.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead, influence, and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
  • Attention to Detail: A curious mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
