Job Description

As the Manager Regulatory Services, you will report to the Director Sustainable Development and be responsible for the management, leadership, strategic development, and delivery of Council's regulatory services.

This role involves overseeing statutory planning, building services, and environmental health services, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification in town planning, building, or environmental health
  • Several years of relevant experience or extensive relevant experience
  • High-level communication and report writing skills
  • Specialist knowledge of legislation and regulations relating to Department programs, services, and operations
  • Ability to implement Council policies and strategies to achieve long-term goals
  • Project management skills and experience highly desirable
