We are seeking an experienced Employment Law Specialist to join our well-established employment team based in Sydney or Melbourne.

As an Employment Law Specialist, you will work closely with our highly regarded Employment Partner, Chris Molnar, who has over 25 years of practising experience and is one of only a few practitioners accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a specialist in workplace relations.

You will be involved in working on exciting mix of industrial relations, health and safety, discrimination and employment law matters; covering both litigation and advisory services. This role will also include EPL work for the insurers to the clients.

This is an excellent leadership & mentoring opportunity with the scope to build a practice whilst gaining exposure to our existing, longstanding client base. In addition, you will lead on webinars and other business development activities, leveraging off our global reputation in the legal market.

The successful candidate will have at least 8 years PQE experience with a strong background in workplace relations. A solid knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law is essential, as is experience and knowledge of Fair Work Commission and Federal Court processes and procedures.

You will also need non-contentious employment experience and the ability to run your own caseload. Leadership abilities and natural flair for building relationships are also required.

Around $150,000 - $200,000 per annum plus superannuation is expected for this role, depending on experience. Kennedys offers a dynamic and supportive work environment, where you can develop your skills and advance your career.
