The role of Claims Specialist at a life insurance firm involves overseeing claims from start to finish, providing a seamless experience for customers. Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of Retail Income Protection insurance claims end-to-end
- Assess, analyze, calculate, and finalize claims payments
- Engage external medical specialists and deliver timely outcomes for customers
- Provide outstanding customer service in accordance with company procedures
- Life insurance claims management experience within Group policy - IP and/or TPD claims experience is ideal OR; Workers Compensation or Return to Work claims management experience with an Allied Health background
- Strong analytical, problem-solving & time-management skills
- Excellent communication & empathy to support customers during challenging times
