This role involves managing a portfolio of complex life insurance claims from start to finish, developing and implementing effective case management strategies to drive sustainable outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Technical Expertise: Manage and assess a portfolio of claims, develop case management strategies to drive sustainable outcomes, and consumer expectations.
- Customer Experience and Communication: Communicate professionally with customers during critical life moments, providing timely updates, transparent decisions, and personalized support.
- Delegation of Authority (DA): Hold a DA with consistent pass QA outcomes in the portfolio.
- Risk Management: Drive and adhere to all claims-related regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaboration/Culture: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to establish relationships and drive an inclusive workplace culture.
Experience managing life insurance claims, preferably within a Group Insurance environment. Ability to work with minimal supervision, hold a DA across all Group product lines, and possess a sound understanding of relevant legislation, policy definitions, and the claims assessment process. Proven ability to interpret complex information and make evidence-based decisions.
- Key Qualifications: A strong background in life insurance claims management, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.
