Insurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Claims Specialist to join our team.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with high-risk claims activity and deliver outstanding career development and financial rewards.
- About the Role:
- Demonstrate deep insurance expertise and be accountable for the management and resolution of high-risk, sensitive and escalated claims activity.
- Provide an enhanced client and customer experience with close Trustee engagement and a consistently exemplary experience for members and claimants.
- Manage and resolve claims in a timely manner for a portfolio of clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop them into proactive case managers of designated, fund specific claims portfolios.
- Run training workshops on transactional work including solutions to issues/error, technical, and product knowledge.
- Deliver case management with enhanced customer experience through personalised work with members and claimants, strong advocacy for claimants and investigation work on complex claims.
- VCE/HSC or equivalent
- PS 146 Compliant
- ASFA Qualifications preferred
- At least 3 years' experience in insurance, preferably within group life insurance or superannuation field
- Excellent knowledge of group life insurance administration and products
