About the Role

The Service Desk Analyst will provide critical IT support to the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) staff across the country. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist AEC staff via phone, email, and remote support with faults, issues, and service requests.
  • Undertake and administer support for staff in the AEC's National Office and other locations as required.
  • Provide on-call support after hours on a rostered basis.
  • Determine software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems.
  • Ensure all service support knowledgebase and artefacts, and policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience in successfully setting priorities and delivering quality results in IT service desk operations.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively while responding to stakeholder needs and expectations.
  • Analytical abilities with the ability to obtain accurate conclusions and apply innovative initiatives.
  • Demonstrated personal integrity while achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
