Job Title:

Accounting Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Director to lead our accounting operations.

The Role
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement best practice accounting processes and systems.
  • Lead day-to-day operations, including workflow, people management, and performance optimisation.
  • Oversight of key software and systems to ensure they are up to date and running efficiently.
  • Monitor budgets, time allocations, and compliance with statutory deadlines.
  • Ensure ASIC and ATO compliance across the firm.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a practice management or similar role, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting firm processes, financial management, and client service best practices.
  • Proficiency with accounting firm software and office applications.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and lead a team to success.
