Leadership Position

The Group Account Director is a senior leadership role that significantly contributes to overall performance and revenue.

This position identifies and develops new and organic business opportunities, serves as a valued leader and resource for clients and client account teams, and adds depth to capabilities by leveraging resources.

The Director works closely with Executive Directors and Managing Partners to deliver the achievement of agency vision, values, and management philosophies.

  • Provides exceptional leadership in management and professional skills, including developing expertise in industries or communication disciplines and pushing skill base and product capabilities.
  • Sought and valued by senior client contacts and teams for counsel and has extensive knowledge and ability to develop integrated campaigns.
  • Led growth and development of core practice areas and effectively managed account teams to ensure work and service were delegated to appropriate experience levels within team structure.
  • Leveraged stakeholder relationships for benefit of agency and developed professional and management skills of team members, providing ongoing feedback and training opportunities.
  • Lent particular skills, capabilities, or knowledge to assist Executive Directors and Managing Partners in problem-solving on behalf of clients, teams, or general management of office.
  • Utilized as consultancy resource and lent professional creativity to client and new business engagements, provided leadership in driving positive work culture, and was positive role model and mentor for others in agency.
  • Managed overall financial performance of client portfolio to meet and exceed targets set, led efforts to develop and achieve company revenue and profitability projections, and intervened with account teams and clients to address financial and billing issues.
  • Completed timesheets daily and acted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
