The Student Midwifery Trainee will work under direct supervision to deliver midwifery care in acute or primary health settings.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver midwifery care to clients at Alukura Maternity Group Practice
- Assist in the delivery of maternity care whilst gaining a broad understanding of midwifery duties and responsibilities
We are looking for an individual with a passion and commitment to caring for Indigenous women.
Requirements- Must be a long-term local resident of Central Australia
- Currently studying or have been accepted into a Bachelor of Midwifery program
- Intend to practice as a midwife in Central Australia after graduation
A competitive salary package, including base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
$56,569 - $57,895 per annum (base salary) *Total effective package: $73,648 - $75,147 per annum*
