Design Engineer Position

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated mechanical Design Engineer to succeed in a dynamic team that drives packaging innovation.

As a key member of the team, your primary responsibility will be delivering and maintaining high-quality CAD mechanical designs to facilitate machine manufacture.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor) to design layouts, prepare general arrangement and 3D models, including assemblies and sub-assemblies.
  • Produce manufacturing drawings and bill of materials.
  • Ensure project specifications are implemented in each solution.
  • Lead communication and workflow between stakeholders, ensuring timely completion of design projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of mechanical design drafting experience.
  • A mechanical background in production machinery design, with a focus on food and beverage.
  • Experience in drafting structural weldments and sheet metal components is highly regarded.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering machined components, including machining tolerances and practices.
  • Proficiency in using Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD.
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
