This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a highly skilled Design Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high-quality CAD mechanical designs to facilitate the manufacture of machines.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor) to design layouts and machine modifications, prepare general arrangement and 3D models, including assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Produce manufacturing drawings and bill of materials.
- Ensure all project specifications are implemented to each solution.
- Lead communication and workflow between stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate completion of design projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design drafting, with experience in designing production machinery, particularly in the food and beverage industry. They should also possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality design solutions.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of mechanical design drafting experience.
- A mechanical background in design of production machinery, with a focus on food and beverage.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting structural weldments and sheet metal components.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering machined components, including a solid working understanding of machining tolerances and practices.
- Experience in using Autodesk Inventor & AutoCAD.
- The ability to perform tasks autonomously with minimal supervision.
