Childcare Director Opportunity

As a Childcare Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of young minds and leading a passionate team of educators. Your primary responsibility will be the day-to-day management and organisation of the childcare centre, providing a high-quality program of care and education for children.

You will also supervise and develop centre educators and workers to maintain an effective service. With a strong focus on child safety and wellbeing, you will work closely with the team to ensure the highest standards are met.

We welcome applications from candidates with a recognised university degree or diploma in early childhood education, relevant experience as an Authorised/Nominated Supervisor, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and Organise Daily Operations: Ensure the smooth running of the childcare centre by overseeing daily operations, including staff supervision and centre maintenance.
  • Provide High-Quality Programs: Design and implement engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Supervise and Develop Centre Educators: Foster a culture of excellence among centre educators by providing guidance, support, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, ensuring the centre meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements:
  • Education: A recognised university degree or diploma in early childhood education.
  • Qualifications: Authorised/Nominated Supervisor qualification and a minimum 2 years' experience in childcare.
  • Working Requirements: Working With Children Check Number and Clearance of National Police Check.
