Lead Construction Procurement Strategist

A career-defining opportunity to drive construction category sourcing strategies across various supply chain tiers and geographies.

The role involves developing and executing innovative procurement solutions that increase Amazon's competitiveness, maintain continuity of supply, and mitigate risks.

You will partner closely with Design and Construction, Real Estate, Legal, and Finance teams to shape and execute category strategies that promote sustainable growth and innovation.

About the Job:

This position requires a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in procurement, contract, and/or commercial management within the construction industry.

  • A deep understanding of construction industry contracts and procurement processes is essential for success in this role.
  • Experience negotiating large-scale construction contracts is also crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute construction category sourcing strategies to drive cost optimization and supplier engagement.
  2. Negotiate and manage framework agreements that meet business objectives.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant construction-related field such as engineering, construction management, civil engineering, or architecture is highly desirable. A strong track record of delivering results-driven procurement solutions and excellent interpersonal skills are also necessary for this role.
