This is an excellent opportunity to lead the program at one of our facilities, promoting social engagement, mental stimulation, and physical activity for residents. You will foster a warm, welcoming environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.

As a Program Coordinator, you will develop and manage various programs and events that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents. Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, you will coordinate lifestyle volunteers and resident wellbeing assistants and provide supervision, direction, and delivery for all day-to-day programs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Relevant Qualifications:

">

A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a related discipline.

">

Experience:

">

At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally with team leadership experience.

Skills:

">

Proven experience in developing and managing programs in the aged care or community sectors.

">

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families.

">

A compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities.

">

Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including intermediate to advanced computer skills.

">

Additional Requirements:

">

A current, full driver's licence for the State of Victoria which is appropriate for the type of vehicle being driven, and comply with any restrictions on their licence.

It is a mandatory requirement when working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Clearance or National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Clearance, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of this role.

All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and receive the Flu-Vaccine.
