About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of retail professionals to create experiences that inspire and delight customers.
  • Ensure all commercial objectives linked to sales, profit, and NPS are overachieved.
  • Create meaningful partnerships with brand and concession partners.
  • Keep our customer at the heart of everything you do and ensure your team meets our service philosophy standards.
  • Represent David Jones positively in the market as the custodian of our iconic brand.

  • Proven ability to coach, inspire, and develop the capability of people and teams.
  • Relentless commitment to delivering inspiring customer experiences.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence diverse stakeholder groups and brand partners.
  • Consistent track record of overachieving against commercial objectives, including NPS.
  • Ability to adapt at pace to changing strategic needs of customers, the business, or market.
  • High commercial acumen with a growth mindset to facilitate growth across the organisation.
