The ideal candidate will possess experience in aged care, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and their families. They must also be resilient under pressure, with excellent communication skills to ensure seamless interactions with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
The key responsibilities of this position include providing home help services, assisting clients with daily tasks, transporting them to lifestyle activities or appointments, and supporting family carers by taking breaks and managing daily tasks. The candidate must have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured vehicle.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must hold a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability. Relevant experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications is highly regarded.
We offer a competitive award rate of $33.82 per hour, plus superannuation, paid kilometres, and an employee benefits program with salary packaging up to $18,550 tax-free each year. Additionally, we provide accelerated learning programs to gain professional qualifications, paid CPR and First Aid courses, and opportunities for career development and growth.
