Job Summary

The Regional Community of Practice Coordinator plays a critical role in the NSW Landcare Program Team, responsible for the delivery of the program responsibilities and deliverables of the Regional Landcare Coordinators (RLCs).

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in natural resource management, project management, and community development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and delivery of the Regional Community of Practice component of the NSW Landcare Program
  • Performance management, professional development, and training of RLCs and Local Landcare Coordinators (LLCs)
  • Dissemination of pertinent information and facilitation of open communication between Landcare NSW and Regional Landcare groups, Local Landcare Groups, and the general Landcare community
  • Generation of additional funding for Landcare Groups which are members of LNSW
Requirements
  • Five years minimum of industry experience delivering programs of a complex and multifaceted nature preferably in the area of natural resource management
  • Tertiary education in Natural Resource Management or the equivalent industry experience
  • Proven project management using best practice project management software and methodology
  • High level of expertise with Microsoft Office
  • Proven stakeholder relationship management experience
  • Proven communication skills both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Proven ability to analyse processes and ensure continuous improvement
  • Ability to think strategically and present ideas to the team
  • Entrepreneurial by nature and experience in business development and/or fundraising
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and proficient in time management and able to prioritise competing tasks
