About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Regional Technical Communications Manager to join our Transmission Services Team. This role can be based anywhere within our northern operational footprint in NSW, covering the Northern Rivers, New England, and Mid North Coast regions.

As a Regional Technical Communications Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and fault rectification of our communications network across regional and rural NSW and parts of southern QLD.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Network Management: Be accountable for the overall installation, acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mobile radio, microwave radio, fibre optic, data, telephony, and SCADA communication systems to specified service levels and agreements.
  • Tech Integration: Take responsibility for integrating new technology and systems into existing infrastructure and ensure programs are developed for maintenance and condition monitoring of mobile radio, microwave radio, data, telephony, fibre optic, and SCADA communication systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytically evaluate systems and network faults and undertake remediation work to ensure ongoing serviceability.
  • Strategy Development: Strategically assist senior management in the review and preparation of recommendation reports for existing and future communication asset infrastructure needs for current sites, conditions, and any increases in network performance requirements.

You will possess excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make appropriate decisions in compliance with company policies, procedures, and best practice.

About Us

We offer competitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience. The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus 16% superannuation on a 9-day fortnight, and allowance.
