Trade Finance Operations Specialist\

This role plays a pivotal part in managing all aspects of our trade finance products, including credit insurance, letters of credit, supply chain finance, export credit agencies, risk management, and trading terms.

Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Manage and oversee global trade insurance policies, monitoring limit exposure and reporting overdue debt in line with policy guidelines.\
  • Evaluate export activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and key stakeholders.\
  • Process and manage trade finance instruments, such as Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Standby Letters of Credit, and related documentation, while meeting regulatory requirements and customer expectations.\
  • Provide timely support and resolution for customer queries and concerns, offering expert advice to internal accounts and finance teams.\
  • Support colleagues in transactions involving other banks (via SWIFT) and contribute to maintaining strong banking relationships.\
  • Apply and develop technical expertise in trade finance operations, including collections, payments, document verification, and various types of guarantees.

Requirements:\
  • \
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role, with exposure to customer service.\
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards and solid analytical and numerical skills.\
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred but not essential.\
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.\
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
